Workout in the Park Coming to a City Near You – Sign Up Now!

Now that I have created a Second Tuesday Meetup group, I am learning about all sorts of amazing events that women can attend and be inspired by.  One of the more recent ones I learned about is “Workout in the Park,” sponsored by SELF magazine.  I thought I’d pass along the information about this event, as I think it will be a fantastic one for you to sign up for, and they are happening in three major cities over the next several weeks –  San Francisco, New York, and Chicago.

“Workout in the Park” is a cost-effective way to exercise, be around many women, and enjoy the outdoor weather.  Rain or shine, this $20 event, where a part of the proceeds go to Cancer and Careers and Susan G. Komen, promises to inspire and empower us all.

It runs from 11 AM to 3 PM and is divided into three sections: Main Stage, Quiet Zone, and Reebok Toning Zone.  The latter two have limited space and thus will act on a first come, first serve basis.

Event dates are as follows:
San Francisco:  April 30
New York:  May 7
Chicago: May 21

If I am in town, I will create a Second Tuesday Meetup for the event in New York.  Regardless, grab your girlfriends and sign up for this amazing event!

About georgiegirlconfections

I've always dreamed of starting my own business one day. My struggle wasn't about how to do it, but instead, what I wanted to do. I realized how much I love baking - it is what I turn to when I am bored or stressed. There are so many things to create and so many ways in which to create them. I look forward to sharing my favorite treats with you.
